When we understand the interconnecting patterns within a model, we can better formulate and apply our knowledge. Mental health is best understood as existing on a continuum. When needs are met, we thrive. When challenges are overwhelming and needs are unmet, we risk crossing the line into mental ill-health.

A full understanding means that we can take helpful steps to tackle mental illness

Within this framework, delegates explore the behaviours accompanying the most common forms of mental ill-health. This awareness allows delegates to be able to manage and support those suffering with these symptoms to meet their needs and to get extra help where required.
